Geothermal Technology Short Course

This one day course aims to provide a basic understanding of geothermal science, technology and environmental issues. It is suitable for participants who deal with planning, conservation or business activities associated with geothermal activity and the geothermal industry.

 

Presenters:

Dr Sadiq Zarrouk is a reservoir engineer based in the Department of Engineering Science of the Faculty of Engineering. He is the course coordinator of the Geothermal Postgraduate Certificate, and has an interest in power production, direct use applications, reservoir characterization and well testing.

 

 

 

 

Dr Bridget Lynne is a geothermal geologist based at IESE specialising in surface manifestations, environmental impacts, tracking fluid flow from the reservoir to the surface and hydrothermal alteration.
