Dr. Bridget Ayling

Alfredo Battistelli is a geothermal reservoir engineer consultant and member of IGA, SPE and UGI. From 1984 to 2018 he was a reservoir engineer and technical coordinator for different companies of Eni SpA, the former Italian National oil company. He contributed to R&D programs relevant to improved oil recovery processes, geological disposal of greenhouse and acid gas mixtures, and the modeling of organic contaminants migration in polluted sites.

He has been involved in feasibility studies, exploration and field development projects in geothermal prospects located in Italy, Bulgaria, Croatia, Poland, Turkey, China, Indonesia, Bolivia, Dominica, Saint Lucia, Djibouti, Ethiopia, Kenya and Tanzania. As geothermal reservoir engineer, he is at present involved in reservoir engineering studies, in the development of field conceptual models and in the definition of field development plans. He is in charge of resource assessment through the modelling of reservoir natural state and the forecast of field exploitation scenarios. He’s co-author of EWASG, T2VOC, TMVOC, TMVOCBio, TMGAS, EOS1H and EOS2H computer codes of the TOUGH2/TOUGH3 family of reservoir simulators.
